ABOUT THE ROLE


Role Overview

As our Email Marketing Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of our communication engine, crafting high-performing email journeys that convert, retain, and educate. You’ll have a strong grasp of copy, automation flows, analytics, and segmentation logic, while also being comfortable experimenting with AI-powered tools to accelerate execution.


Key Responsibilities


  • Plan and execute email marketing campaigns for both outbound and lifecycle journeys (drips, nurtures, newsletters, reactivation, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the content and product marketing teams to write engaging email copy that aligns with brand tone and business goals.
  • Own the setup, segmentation, A/B testing, and performance tracking of campaigns in tools like HubSpot, Mailchimp, or similar platforms.
  • Leverage AI tools like Lovable and Bolt to generate, optimize, and personalize content at scale.
  • Analyze campaign performance using key metrics (CTR, open rate, conversion rate, etc.) and optimize for continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain email list hygiene, ensure deliverability, and comply with regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Design, and Growth teams to align messaging and timing.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in email marketing or lifecycle marketing in a B2B SaaS or fintech environment.
  • Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills with a knack for high-converting messaging.
  • Strong understanding of segmentation, customer journeys, and email automation.
  • Familiarity with AI tools like Lovable, Bolt, or other content generation platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM/email tools like HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Customer.io, or similar.
  • Analytical mindset with a solid grasp of email KPIs and how to optimize toward them.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently.

Bonus Points if You:

  • Have experience running cold email sequences or outbound ABM campaigns.
  • Understand B2B buying cycles in the fintech or SaaS space.
  • Have experience with multivariate testing and predictive personalization.
  • Are familiar with deliverability tools (e.g., GlockApps, Postmark).
  • Can build simple HTML templates or troubleshoot formatting issues.
